CCT: Augenblick
Sunday is coming faster than I can keep up with and I still have so many things I need to do. These last few days need to slow down a bit so I can enjoy my time in Columbus while I can.

Amazingly, yes, I've had fun in Columbus over the summer. I got to spend a lot of time with Kalan and I got a ton of knitting done. There's been quite a bit of drama down here, but nothing I can't get over. I'm also glad Lauren could be here before we go back to Athens because I've missed her. Having the room to myself this whole time has allowed me to learn a lot about myself, and I'm happy for that. Kalan and I have really grown closer over the summer too, and I know I'll really miss him when I leave. I haven't been thinking about it lately because I know it's going to be a really tough day. I'm just glad that Kalan's new job will make it easier for him to come and visit me during the year.

Knitting-wise, I'm still waiting for the rest of Kacie's sweater yarn to get here, and I am not happy. It's been nearly a month since I ordered the yarn, and I was told that the rest of the yarn would be shipped about a week after the first package, but I still haven't received anything. I'm going to e-mail them in the morning so I can get my damn yarn and knit that sweater already. In the meantime, I've almost completed the tunic, I'm partway through the other kneesock, and I'm 95% done with the Tab Trim Top from the art issue of Knit.1 magazine. I need to sew the belt on straight and weave in the rest of the ends. That top was a very fast knit; I bought the yarn on Saturday, knit most of the back Sunday, finished the back and cast on the front Monday, finished the front and half of the belt on Tuesday, and finished the belt and sewed the top together Wednesday (by the way, the clock on my entries is wrong; it's actually 1:11 AM right now). I might finish it now, but I'm pretty tired, so I might save it for tomorrow. I just hope it'll look good on me.

I'm going to meet with Jon and Justin so we can play some of our songs together again before I go back to Athens. I e-mailed Jon tabs of some of my songs so we can get back into it. I haven't played with them in a long time, and I'm looking forward to it. Geimer's trying to get revenge for my crazy dominating in Monopoly by beating me in Cashflow, but we'll see about that. Bwah.

Man, I need to get my stuff together for Sunday. But, I think I'll save that for the morning. Good night, everyone.

Je t'ai croisée
Un samedi soir
Et j'ai jeté sur ta silhouette
Une poignée d'épices colorées
Mon but était clair
