Psychology and Sock Yarn.
The semester is steadily drawing to a close; I've already knocked out one of my finals. I have four more to go and then I'll be back in Columbus for three weeks. My Psych final is up next, and I need to make sure I do well on it. I have a chance of making a B in that class, and I'm going to make sure I get it. It's a little depressing to me because I've yet to make a C in college, and I'm really getting close with this class. It's definitely not an easy class though, so I don't feel too bad about it.

I feel like I may be underestimating my finals a bit. I haven't been studying as much as I probably should, and there's quite a bit of material that I still need to learn. I'm just glad that I'll be getting the Psych one out of the way at the beginning; my Bio final will be the grand finale on Thursday.

Eric wants to stay in Athens to see Eragon when it opens in theaters on Friday, so I talked to Kalan today, and he offered to take Lauren and me home on Thursday after I get off work. Hooray! I really would like to get home as soon as possible, so I'm glad he can get us. I offered to help pay for gas, too, so that wasn't a problem at all. I'm looking forward to seeing him again; it's been a little while.

I've been breaking up the studying today with a little knitting. I started knitting a sock out of my beautiful Opal Petticoat sock yarn a few months ago, and I was literally decreasing at the toe when I realized that it was just too small to be comfortable. So, yesterday, I ripped the entire sock back and decided to start anew:

I went up a needle size and it's turning out beautifully. I only wish I had had the forsight to give the frogged yarn a quick wash to straighten it back out; the sock itself looks a little roughed up, but I think if I block it when it's knitted, it should straighten out okay. Hopefully I'll have a new pair of socks soon. Although, I can't let it distract me too much from studying.

I hung out with Eric and his friends last night, and I had a good time. We watched "Saw" at his and Neil's apartment (Eric hadn't seen it yet) and played Smash Brothers Melee. Eric said he really liked the movie, especially the ending, and I agree. "Saw" is definitely one of my all-time favorites. I know it's a little fucked up, but I love John (aka the Jigsaw Killer). I wouldn't want to meet him in real life, but man. He's awesome.

Well, my sock is calling me, so I should return to it. I don't know why, but I just can't put that thing down. Maybe I can get it out of my system tonight so I can concentrate on my studying tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Je t'ai croisée
Un samedi soir
Et j'ai jeté sur ta silhouette
Une poignée d'épices colorées
Mon but était clair
