Finally!
mood: root vegetable
music: "Aaangry Megaphone Man" by The Dissociatives

I finally managed to get downloaded copies of both the Blackfield and Dissociatives CDs, and they are as good as I had expected them to be. I put them on my iPOD as soon as I was able to. "Pain" is my favorite song off the Blackfield CD by far, and "Horror with Eyeballs" still remains the favorite on The Dissociatives. I already managed to learn "Pain" yesterday on my guitar. Very, very good CDs.

Last Saturday, I spent the whole day with Kalan; we cruised flea markets in Alabama for most of the day. Kalan bought me a really pretty ornamental knife with a mermaid on the sheath (my choice, of course), and he bought this really cool-looking jagged knife thing for himself. Lauren had gotten her digital camera that day, so we decided to be stupid and did some poses for her with our new knives. I'll post them at some point, more than likely. Saturday was a lot of fun.

The High Museum and Margarete Mitchell house were quite boring yesterday. And it rained. Our group ended up staying at the museum for another hour because we had so much time left over, so Lauren and I looked at the European and American art. The European art section had beautiful paintings and statues and things like that--the American art section had furniture. And portraits of old people. It stormed really bad while we were in the museum, so we had to track through the rain to get back to the buses.

We drew numbers today in Humanities for when we're presenting Phase I of our senior projects; I'm number 29. Poor Lauren's number 5, so she's definitely going next Wednesday. I'll probably be going next Friday, thank God.

Oop, dinner's here; I'm gonna go eat.

Je t'ai croisée
Un samedi soir
Et j'ai jeté sur ta silhouette
Une poignée d'épices colorées
Mon but était clair
