mood: am I dead?
music: "Open Mind" by Blackfield

Like Lauren, I am writing to you right now instead of composing my AP Gov essay--ah, how ye olde Blogger can be used for various forms of procrastination. Hey, at least I'm updating, huh?

I got a new e-mail address by the way. Here it is for those who didn't get the e-mail:

Yesterday was a momentous occaision: not just for the end of the Olympics, but also the fact that I officially finished my ninth diary. Whoo-hoo! I bought the new blank book for the tenth one: red leather cover with shiny gold on the sides of the pages and a heart (kinda like the Sacred Heart, sans the thorns) in the middle. It's also got a border around said organ-looking heart that's got fleur de lis's on it. It had to be extra special because it's my tenth one. Let's hope the events in the near future will be pleasent ones so I don't get another Black Book! Whoo~!

School wasn't that bad at all today, so that was good. And plus, I won't have to present my Senior Project stuff until next week because our guidance counselor Mrs. Strunk is coming in on Friday to tell us about scholarships and colleges and stuff. That reminds me--I need to start working on that UGA application asap. When's the due date for early applications again?

Had to go to the Ortho after school, but it wasn't so bad. The due date for getting these braces off is June, but Dr. Lane said they should be coming out sooner than that, so that's good. Don't know how much sooner, but at least I don't have to graduate with 'em.

Ooh, so hungry. Mom's making shredded salsa chicken, so I can't wait until dinner comes. I'll probably start working on my AP Gov paper after dinner, or maybe when I'm done with this. We'll see how I feel, or what comes first. Ah hell, I'll just start it now.

See you later kiddies.

Je t'ai croisée
Un samedi soir
Et j'ai jeté sur ta silhouette
Une poignée d'épices colorées
Mon but était clair
