RED. It's RED.
mood: good
music: "Riverz End" by Skinny Puppy

I freaked everyone out today when I came home from work with red hair. God, I love my job--there's nothing like getting a free dye job whenever I want. Plus, I get free lunch, and I can leave when I feel like it. And I get $6.00 an hour for it. It's nice working for a hair stylist.

The hair deal was fun because it was so spontaneous. Stacey and I went to the styling supplies store near her house, and I noticed a really pretty dark red/burgundy color that I liked. Stacey saw it and bought it with some other colors to blend with it. We were going to dye my hair this Thursday, but we really wanted to do it today, so we just went ahead and did it right after lunch. Someday, I'm going to dye the whole thing dark purple.

I was hit with divine inspiration yesterday and ended up drawing two pictures in my sketchbook. I'm very happy with them, especially since I haven't drawn a picture in a while. I might post the second one in here at some point.

Lauren and I are starting our volunteer work this Thursday, and I can't say I'm looking forward to it. We're going to have to go there as soon as I'm off work, so I won't have much time at home. Plus, we have to figure out how we're going to get there--Mom and Eric are both working. I won't be able to spend time with Kalan that day, either, which makes me sad. Maybe we can get together on Friday or something.

Pheer the RED!

Je t'ai croisée
Un samedi soir
Et j'ai jeté sur ta silhouette
Une poignée d'épices colorées
Mon but était clair
