music: "Strip the Soul" by Porcupine Tree
This is my home, this is my own, we don't like no strangers
Raise the kids good, beat the kids good and tie them up
Spread it wide, my wife, my life, push the camera deeper
I can use, I abuse, my muse, I made them all
This machine
Is there to please
Strip the soul
Fill the hole
A fire to feed
A belt to bleed
Strip the soul
Kill them all
They are not gone, they are not gone, they are only sleeping
In graves, in ways, in clay, underneath the floor
Building walls, overalls, getting bored, I got faulty wiring
Brick it up now, brick it up now, but keep the bones
(Do you want a western home in the rubble ?)
This is why the video is so freaking weird!
Yeah, that's the video I traumatized Mary with last Friday. I thought it was pretty cool, but hey, that's just me. Freaky-ass song, too. I like it! :)
I actually woke up at nine this morning, as opposed to eleven, so I am very proud of myself. Like Lauren said, Dad's supposed to take her to that banquet thing today, but for some reason Dad's not here, so Mom's gonna call him and remind him. I swear, he's got no reason to forget this kind of stuff. It's really annoying sometimes.
As most of you know, we've got the apartment at the Oaks of Green Island, so Mom, Kristen, Lauren, and I will be moving there April 1st. It's so exciting! Dad will have to stay with the house until we can get it sold. It's going to be odd for him with all those empty rooms and stuff, but hopefully the house will sell soon. The final step is almost complete! I'm so happy!
Lauren tells me I've been too happy for the past few days. Oh well, happy's good!
Dad's going to take Kristen, Lauren, and I to see Passion of the Christ tonight. I've been wanting to see it for a while--I'm sure it'll be good. Whoo, I'll be going to the movies two days in a row! I'll try not to stuff myself with popcorn. ;)
Hmm, I'm hungry. It's not quite lunchtime yet, and I hate eating breakfast, so I'll probably either stick it out until noon or raid the pantry for something. Gah, why can't Sunday come sooner?!
