mood: Ill
music: "Save Yourself" by Sense Field
word of the day: festering

What? Could it be that I have enough free time to actually. . .update? Yes! It's true! ::triumphant music plays::

Well, it starts; after feeling sick for the past few days, I have received the first sign of a fever tonight with a 99.6-degree temperature. It gets really annoying after I sneeze as well because then my nose is really itchy and runny (or post-nasal drip, as I like to call it) afterward. I hope I can stay home from school tomorrow, since it seems to be the calmest day this week, so I don't have to miss too much work.

I finally finished my service hour report today, and I hope to get extra credit for turning it in early. I liked ushering for the symphony, but I'm also glad it's over, and I am so darn happy that the report is over with as well. My hands are so sore from writing and typing that I'm thinking of soaking them in hot water some time to loosen the muscles up. I can tell they need it.

Mrs. Bonaker was our substitute for chorus this morning; I swear, that woman is so annoying, and if I have to listen to that God-forsaken Chocolate Cookie song again, I'll go crazy. Fortunately, Mrs. Walker came in to review our choreography with us, so we were saved. I even got a good doodle done when Mrs. Bonaker was teaching us.

I was planning on going to Bible Study tonight, but I had to work on my stupid report all night, so I couldn't go. I'm sorry, guys!

I took a bunch of pictures while I was at All State two weeks ago, but I haven't gotten them developed yet. As soon as I do though, I'll make sure to post a bunch of them here. It was a TON of fun, and I wish it didn't end so soon. The performance was fantastic; I loved "Jabberwocky" by the Senior Mixed Chorus the most. All of us All Staters seemed to grow a lot closer on that trip.

Well, that seems to be it for now. I'll try to be a little more consistent with my entries. Until then!

Je t'ai croisée
Un samedi soir
Et j'ai jeté sur ta silhouette
Une poignée d'épices colorées
Mon but était clair
