Woo! I'm finally in Raleigh!

I absolutely LOVE it here! We drove up here on Monday and arrived at four or so. Unfortunately, we had beaten Grandmother and Grandad home; Grandmother was having chemo that day. When they did arrive, I was happy to discover the only difference in Grandmother's appearence was her lack of hair. She didn't look sick at all, which is good; she said that the last thing she wanted to do was look sick. I'm glad the uteran cancer hasn't gotten to her to much. I'm very happy that it's already been removed, so all they have to do is make sure it doesn't come back and there isn't any anywhere else.

We had the traditional Pizza Inn pizza for dinner, which I love--nothing can beat Pizza Inn, but unfortunately there isn't one in Columbus. We then of course when to Crabtree mall for some shopping. I ended up buying two graphic novels that night: the third Inu-Yasha one and the first Ranma 1/2 one. That Ranma 1/2 volume cracked me up; I burst out laughing more than once.

The next day, we went to Southpoint mall, the newest mall up here. It is HUGE!! It looks exactly like a two-story indoor village inside, which is really neat. We ate at the California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. They have some really really good pizza there (:d). The first place Lauren and I went to was the GIGANTIC Barnes and Noble they had. I bought a book and a Guitar World magazine there. We then of course went to the (slightly crappy) Electronics Boutique and the (really nice) FYE. We didn't buy anything else there. Lauren also got the newest Goo Goo Dolls CD today called "Gutterflower", which is really good. I encourage everyone to buy it! ^-^

And then today, we went to Crabtree once more where I bought volume 2 of Ranma 1/2 which I have yet to read. I wish Spring Break was longer than a stupid week so I could stay here longer, but we have to leave on Saturday. I hope the days go by slowly.

Je t'ai croisée
Un samedi soir
Et j'ai jeté sur ta silhouette
Une poignée d'épices colorées
Mon but était clair
